Freeze! Virtual Headquarters

Freeze! is the home of our movie studio in Second Life. We use it to composite SL character animations on traditional 3D or 2D video footage, in order to produce animation shorts inexpensively and quickly.

Compositing

The “PrimTime” technique permits us to save time on the long process of character animation by using the extensive move and gestures libraries available in SL, as well as our own. We balance the relatively simple animations with detailed, atmospheric sets and high quality sound. We avoid unnecessarily complex shots that would be time-consuming and costly. This way we can produce our films quickly with a team of - well… 2 people. The PrimTime Technique is tailored for the era of viral videos, which are focused on spreading a message as fast as possible.

Who for?

First for us. But we developed The PrimTime Technique precisely to make cause related animated shorts affordable for NGOs and small companies we’d be proud to work with. Our goal is helping organizations dedicated to sustainability, social change and human rights effectively convey their message with creative and affordable viral animated movies.
